In forty plus years of coaching I have known men who desired to build Truth into the lives of their players. However, some felt their Bible knowledge and ability to teach were very insufficient. Therefore, they would not even try to teach simple Bible concepts to their players. It is our hope that these short (ten minutes or less) devotionals can be used by you to take some pressure off and allow you to grow as a teacher while helping your players hear Truth. Each devotional has a trait and a main scripture so you can be comfortable that the lessons are grounded in the Bible. Some day I hope you will write your own devotional and submit it to us so we can share them with others. You would be surprised how Jesus can use the insights provided to you by the Holy Spirit to bless others. Have courage because as Psalm 118:6 reminds us “The Lord is for me; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” |
